Account information — your name and email address.
Registrant details — information required to register your domain (such as name,
email, and contact details), which is provided to our domain registrar and, as required, to
domain registries.
Payment information — processed by our payment provider, Paddle. We do not store
your full card details.
Usage data — basic, privacy-friendly analytics about how the Service is used.
To provide and operate the Service (including checking availability, registering and managing your domain, and setting up redirects, pages, and email), to process payments, to communicate with you (for example renewal and security notices), and to improve and secure the Service.
When you use the free checker, we query public availability sources for the name you enter. If you join a waitlist or create an account, we store your email so we can contact you.
We share information only as needed to provide the Service, including with: our domain registrar (to register and manage your domain), domain registries (as required by ICANN/registry rules), our hosting/DNS provider, our authentication provider, and our payment provider (Paddle). We do not sell your personal information.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal obligations.
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us at support@namesquatch.com to make a request.
We use essential cookies to operate the Service and, where applicable, privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use advertising trackers.
